Apparel Care
Inside Out:
To preserve the garment’s appearance, turn it inside out before laundering to minimize friction and protect colours and prints.
Hand Wash:
- Fill a clean basin or sink with lukewarm water, avoid hot water that could damage delicate fabrics.
- Dissolve a mild detergent or soap suitable for hand washing in the water.
- Gently agitate the garment in the soapy water, avoiding vigorous rubbing or wringing.
- Rinse thoroughly with cool water until all soap residue is removed.
- Allow excess water to drain away by placing the garment flat for air drying.
Cold Wash:
- Opt for the cold water setting on your washing machine to prevent color fading and fabric shrinkage.
- Use a detergent specifically formulated for cold water washing to ensure effective cleaning.
- Avoid hot water which can cause certain fabrics to shrink or bleed dye.
- Always separate colours to prevent colour transfer, especially during cold wash cycles.
Do Not Twist:
- After washing, gently remove excess water from the garment without resorting to twisting or wringing.
- Avoid twisting, as it may lead to stretching, distortion, or damage to delicate fabrics.
- Instead, gently press the garment between clean towels to absorb moisture or let excess water drain away naturally.
Steam Iron:
- Fill the iron’s reservoir with distilled water to prevent mineral accumulation and staining.
- Adjust the iron to the appropriate heat setting suitable for the fabric being steamed.
- Hang the garment on a hanger or lay it flat on an ironing board.
- Maintain a safe distance between the iron and the fabric surface to prevent direct contact.
- Utilize smooth, even strokes with the steam function activated to effectively remove wrinkles and refresh the garment.
